Our Company

1961. Our history begins with the foundation of the first commercial company, by our father and grandfather Fotios Papoutsis.

Object of the company is fir logs processing and final product’s marketing. The processed wood is ready for roof manufacturing and further construction work.

The company is located near the city of Karditsa at Trikalon street, in private facilities with evolved technological equipment

As an upward trend in the Greek wood industry, the company continued its activities under the name Vasilios Papoutsis Bros and Sons G.P.. Until today we are thriving with respect and loyalty to our ancestor’s tradition and towards the environment.

2007. Asteriades and Vasilios Papoutsis bros, with Fotios and Evangelos sons, establish the new company

The latest company with a new brand name, Fotios Papoutsis Sons and Bros, is now located at Artesiano, a suburb near the Greek city of Karditsa. The innovating equipment is based in a private space of 23.000 square meters into brand new facilities.

This inception fills us with energy and desire.

2009. The new production line putted into operation

The equipment consists of German and Italian components (heavy – duty tools) automatic rips, saws and many more. Saw lumber production is carried out with hew saws and linck lines. Traditional frame sawing is also used in production. Structural timber with rectangular cross sections formed by sawing, planing and deviating from nominal dimensions. The maximum production capacity of saw timbering, is more than 80mᵌ/day.
